skinny-neck-hex asked:
How much did you know about animation before you went to school for it? I draw constantly, and it's something that's always appealed to me. But other than that and a few brief things I have read I know nothing. Should I be well prepared or will I pretty much learn everything there?
I’d say I knew a bit more than most of my classmates, but only because I’ve been interested in the craft from a historical perspective for years and have read up on the subject.
If you go to a good school and are actively involved in the learning process, you will learn everything you need to know to produce an animation. Most students start where you are. A head start never hurts, though.
